Hungary Welcomes Vaccinated Visitors

Hungary's Foreign Minister Péter Szijjártó has announced today in a Facebook post this EU country will allow Russian visitors entry if they hold a COVID-19 vaccine immunity certificate. And Russia will enable Hungarian visitors who show a negative PCR test for the SARS-CoV-2 beta coronavirus.

'We also decided to allow vaccinated Russian citizens to enter Hungary for tourism purposes, so far it has been possible to come for business purposes,' said Szijjártó.

Hungary and Russia have been deploying the Sputnik V vaccine during 2021.
