Weekly Monoclonal Antibodies Allocations Announced

The HHS Office of the Assistant Secretary for Preparedness and Response announced today it would distribute 148,968 anti-SARS-CoV-2 monoclonal antibodies (mAbs) to U.S. states, territories, and agencies this week.

Beginning today (Feb. 28, 2022), the currently Authorized mAbs products will be distributed:

  • Sotrovimab (Xevudy) = 46,986 ​doses
  • Evusheld (tixagevimab / cilgavimab) = 49,992​ ​doses
  • Eli Lilly's Bebtelovimab = 51,990​ ​doses

Since Sept. 24, 2021, the U.S. government has distributed about 3.832 million mAbs.

According to the U.S. NIH, specific mAbs are effective against SARS-CoV-2 virus variants, including Omicron and its subvariants.
